Brighton Main Streets and the Brighton Board of Trade will once again sponsor the 22nd Annual Trick or Treat with the businesses, in partnership with Boston College and Boston Police Station D14 (Allston-Brighton).
This event has been extremely successful and is growing in numbers each year. The concept is simple…local neighborhood children will go to each business that displays the orange “trick or treat” sign (enclosed) from 3 PM to 5 PM on Tuesday, October 31st. The Halloween route is from Police Station D14 down Washington St. heading towards Oak Square. A Pizza Party will follow at 5 PM at the Oak Square YMCA.
We are encouraging businesses to decorate their storefronts for Halloween! Be festive and have fun dressing up your store and yourself for the holiday.
Parents accompany the children and this is a great opportunity for each and every business owner to get to meet the families in the neighborhood and for the families to get to know you, our local business owner. Enclosed you will find the orange “Welcome Trick or Treater” flyer to be displayed on your window if you wish to participate.
Boston Police D14 will be helping to direct traffic and crossing the children at the major intersections and we have volunteers from Boston College to help as well. If you have any questions please contact Liz Sullivan at 617-779-9200 or email@example.com
